2018 Annual Report

In 2018, the American renewable energy sector again demonstrated its resilience with near record growth despite trade tensions, federal policy headwinds and flat national electricity consumption. Continuing improvements in cost effectiveness, coupled with booming growth in the demand for renewable power by American businesses and residential consumers, helped drive more than $47.8 billion in investment and over 19 GW of new wind and solar generating capacity.
