ACORE Partners with the National Urban League to Publish Inaugural Climate and Clean Energy Section of the 2023 State of Black America Report

Working in collaboration to help illustrate the path toward a just and equitable clean energy future, the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) has partnered with the National Urban League on the release of its 2023 State of Black America® report, “Democracy in Peril: Confronting the Threat Within.”

A moment of hope on climate: Now what?

With the enactment of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), our nation is now finally positioned to achieve its climate targets. Thanks to the IRA, clean energy businesses will benefit from stable, long-term tax incentives like those enjoyed by the fossil fuel sector for more than a century. Tax credits for renewable generation are complemented by new incentives for energy storage, clean hydrogen and domestic clean energy manufacturing.

ACORE Wins DOE’s Inclusive Energy Innovation Prize

The Department of Energy (DOE) has selected the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) as a winner of the Inclusive Energy Innovation Prize, a “first-of-its-kind competition designed to support entrepreneurship and innovation in communities historically underserved in federal climate and energy technology funding.”
