ACORE Comments on the U.S. Department of Energy’s RFI on Securing the U.S. Bulk-Power System
ACORE filed comments in response to the Department of Energy’s request for information following the August 26, 2026 signing of Executive Order 14421, “Declaring a National Emergency to Secure the United States Bulk-Power System.” ACORE emphasized that DOE’s implementation of E.O. 14421 can serve as an opportunity to build on and better align existing policies and requirements. The E.O. is also an opportunity to provide clear, administrable guidance that will provide stakeholders with the certainty necessary to make long-term investments in their internal systems and policies, workforces, and supply chains.
