Due to the hazardous nature of lithium-ion batteries, end-of-life costs for a large, industrial battery can exceed the original cost of the battery. Our patent-pending technology reduces the risk and cost of using these batteries for both public and private customers.
Christina Calvin, CEO
Christina Calvin is dedicated to development of lithium-ion battery recycling technologies. Ms. Calvin holds a BA in Anthropology from Occidental College, a Master’s in Geosciences from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, an MBA in Sustainability Studies from the University of Oregon, and a PhD in Geosciences from Brown University.
Throughout her educational journey, Ms. Calvin conducted and published a variety of research and even obtained a patent. She has also served as a Geologist at the Smithsonian, Senior Geologist at both ExxonMobil and Schlumberger, and a Sustainability and Geology Consultant. As CEO of Terran Material Resources, Ms. Calvin will utilize this impressive educational, research, and work experience to build her company. Her ultimate goal is to revolutionize the energy storage industry.
