Jordan Newman has been in renewable energy finance for 18 years. He has worked both on the tax equity investment side as well as on the project developer/sponsor side and has deep expertise in all project finance structures, including purchase/sale, construction debt, term debt and tax equity structures.
Jordan has been with Wells Fargo for 9 years and serves as a Managing Director for the Renewable Energy and Environmental Finance Group where he manages the team responsible for origination, structuring, and closing of tax equity financing for wind, solar, and storage projects. Prior to joining Wells, Jordan held senior project finance positions at a number of developers, including Tioga Energy and Energy Finance Company, managing the pricing, project capital raising, and closing efforts for solar portfolios. Jordan’s first role in the solar industry was with Sharp Solar, where he was responsible for implementing financial products to support module channel sales. He completed his undergraduate studies at Tufts University and received his MBA with honors from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
