Colleen Pickford serves as a senior advisor to the President & CEO, responsible for providing leadership across the organization to ensure alignment of ACORE’s work and activities with member interests and needs.

In addition to overseeing ACORE’s membership and events activities and in partnership with the ACORE Board of Directors, Colleen oversaw the launch of the ACORE Accelerate Membership Program, which is designed to support the success of small, emerging renewable energy companies owned and/or operated by leaders who identify as women, Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, Hispanic or Native American.

Colleen is a seasoned leader who has worked across the sustainability and clean tech nonprofit space. Throughout her career, she has helped connect corporations with policies, programs, and activities that advance their sustainability and climate efforts, including extensive experience developing sustainable product standards with the tech industry.

Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management from Penn State and a Master of Natural Resources from Virginia Tech. Based in Rhode Island, Colleen is active in local land and water conservation organizations.
