ACORE Statement on House Passage of the FY 22 Minibus Appropriations Bill

Statement From Bill Parsons, Chief Operating Officer of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE):

“We applaud today’s House vote in support of the FY 22 minibus appropriations bill. The clean energy investments made at the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E), and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will help tackle the climate crisis, accelerate high-impact innovation, and strengthen America’s overall competitiveness at a critical time in the global energy transition. We commend Chair DeLauro and Chair Kaptur for their leadership on this timely legislation, and look forward to working with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to enact these critical investments into law this year.”
