ACORE Statement on GREEN Act

Statement From Gregory Wetstone, President and CEO of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE):

“We support the GREEN Act as an important starting point for the indispensable role that clean energy tax incentives will play as part of a comprehensive federal climate strategy.  It’s high time we move past endless cycles of short-term stopgap measures and towards a stable, predictable and long-term clean energy tax platform capable of effectively addressing the climate crisis.  We look forward to working with Chairman Thompson, Chairman Wyden and policymakers in both chambers of Congress to craft federal clean energy tax policy at the level of ambition necessary to achieve this critical objective.”
