ACORE Statement on EPA’s New Carbon Pollution Standards

Statement From Gregory Wetstone, President and CEO of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE):

“The EPA’s new regulatory proposal is an important step forward and it comes as scientific warnings about the impacts of climate change have grown increasingly dire. It is clear that we need a regulatory framework for reducing carbon emissions to complement the helpful incentives in the Inflation Reduction Act if we are to achieve our climate targets. We applaud EPA Administrator Michael Regan for this strong, comprehensive approach.”
