As ACORE marks the fifth anniversary of its entrepreneur support program, Accelerate, the program is welcoming its sixth cohort of founders building deployable, revenue-generating solutions across AI-driven energy optimization, solar and distributed energy, grid management, power electronics, renewable development, storage, and clean energy advisory. 

The 2026–2028 cohort reflects Accelerate’s evolution into a national platform advancing investment-ready companies, strengthening project and procurement pipelines, and connecting emerging clean energy businesses to institutional capital, reinforcing Accelerate’s role in translating innovation into bankable projects and real-world infrastructure impact. 

Building on a growing community of more than 50 companies across more than 30 states, this new cohort deepens Accelerate’s footprint across regional markets and energy subsectors, expanding opportunities for collaboration, deployment, and capital formation nationwide. 

For five years, Accelerate has focused on one core outcome: ensuring high-potential clean energy companies are prepared to access capital and compete in today’s evolving energy markets. As investment conditions shift, Accelerate’s role remains the same: bridging the gap between innovation and deployment. 

In the year ahead, the newest cohort of Accelerate companies can expect expanded funder and investor engagement, structured capital-readiness support, deeper policy and market insight, curated introductions to customers and corporate partners, and increased visibility across ACORE’s national convenings and industry engagements.
