ACORE Statement on House Passage of the FY 2023 Omnibus Appropriations Bill

Statement From José Zayas, Executive Vice President of Policy and Programs for the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE):

“We are ending the year on a high note with today’s House approval of the fiscal year 2023 omnibus appropriations bill. ACORE is particularly encouraged to see strong congressional support for critical Department of Energy programs, including the new Grid Deployment Office, which will play a pivotal role in modernizing the nation’s high-voltage transmission network and expanding regional grids. We commend both chambers for passing a bipartisan spending framework that makes necessary investments in a resilient, 21st century grid and encourage President Biden to swiftly sign this bill into law.”
