RE: Request for Information (RFI) on the Designation of National Interest Electric Transmission Corridors (NIETC)

ACORE appreciates the opportunity to provide feedback to the RFI on the proposed NIETC process. ACORE strongly supports DOE’s proposed applicant-driven, route-specific approach to NIETC designation. One potential area of improvement in the process is to clarify and narrow the definition of “Communities of Interest.”
