Megan Allison joined the ACORE team in 2021. In her role, Megan supports ACORE’s membership and events teams through the planning, drafting, scheduling, and tracking of various marketing efforts, including social media campaigns and content marketing.

Prior to joining ACORE, Megan was the Social Media and Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator for Voices for Children Montgomery, where she executed a results-driven social media strategy, developed engaging content for all social media platforms, and assisted in implementing a volunteer recruitment plan. Additionally, Megan had interned at both Clean Water Action and Maryland Pesticide Education Network, focusing on communications and environmental policy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
