Managing Director, Tax Equity Leader, GE Vernova Financial Services

Kevin Knight is a Managing Director and Tax Equity Leader at the Financial Services business at GE Vernova, which has a mission to invest approximately $1 billion annually in the U.S. renewable energy market. Renewable energy has been a strategic growth initiative at the GE unit, which has made equity and debt commitments in more than 200 projects with the capacity to generate more than 14 gigawatts of power, primarily from the wind and sun. Cumulatively, Financial Services at GE Vernova has made investment commitments in renewable energy projects exceeding $19 billion.

Kevin has underwritten over 5GW of greenfield and repowered wind investments and managed over 2.5GW of GE EFS’ wind investments. Since joining GEV in 2010, Mr. Knight has also held positions in Services and Project Management at GEV Onshore Wind and equity and debt underwriting at GE EFS.

He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds an MS in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from Cornell University. He is a graduate of General Electric’s Renewable Energy Leadership Program (RELP).
