Janelle Blackwood joined the ACORE staff in 2023. She manages the organization’s benefits administration, vendor management, IT Management, and recruitment and retention. Before joining ACORE, she served as an Account Executive at NFP, where she excelled in developing and maintaining client relationships, managing open enrollment meetings, and ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of client-facing documents. Prior to NFP, Janelle worked at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), where she was the Director of Administration & Facilities. In this role, she successfully managed payroll, benefits, and leave administration while providing strategic guidance to the leadership team on staff challenges and engagement. Notably, she spearheaded the implementation of comprehensive employee benefits and incentive packages and played a pivotal role in improving onboarding processes, streamlining performance review processes, maintaining an updated employee handbook, establishing international offices, and expanding office spaces to promote collaboration.
