Managing Director, Checkmate Capital

Jamie is a partner and Managing Director of Checkmate Capital.  Mr. Evans was previously Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Coronal Energy.  Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Head of U.S. Energy Solutions for Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company where he was charged with managing all aspects of Panasonic’s energy solutions platform in North America.  He was also President of Panasonic Energy Solutions Canada.  Mr. Evans has twenty years of banking, finance, capital markets, and operational experience, having worked previously at UBS, Oliver Wyman, and BlackRock.

Mr. Evans holds a BA in Environmental Science and Economics from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia Business School SAIS.
