Alisa Fox serves as ACORE’s Director of Grid Campaigns, where she leads federal, regional, and state strategies to make new and existing transmission more efficient.

Prior to ACORE, Alisa spent nearly a decade at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), where she launched and managed the organization’s federal policy team spanning all energy sectors: power, buildings, transportation, and industry. In this role, she brought technical rigor to congressional and federal agency policymaking, translating RMI research into actionable policy and working closely with bipartisan coalitions.

Earlier at RMI, Alisa partnered with leading cities to design and implement renewable energy strategies, including evaluating procurement mechanisms, utility engagement, and regulatory pathways. She holds a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on energy sustainability from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
