As Senior Manager of Grants & Finance Operations, Alex works across ACORE to lead financial operations, compliance, and management of ACORE’s grant-funded programs, the Macro Grid Initiative, and Siting America.

Prior to joining ACORE, Alex provided strategic programmatic and operational support for USAID’s flagship climate finance project, the Sustainable Investment Accelerator (previously the Climate Finance for Development Accelerator) at Chemonics International. She has also worked at land rights and climate-focused NGOs, such as the Rights and Resources Initiative, where she supported Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities to secure their forestland and resource rights and to preserve communities’ right to self-determination.

Alex holds an M.A. in International Development and a Certificate in Humanitarian Assistance from the University of Denver and graduated with highest honours with B.A.s in Art History and French with a minor in Classical Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
