Colin Meehan serves as Vice President, Grid Campaigns at ACORE, leading efforts to build modern grid infrastructure that stabilizes energy prices, strengthens reliability, and ensures clean energy delivers for people, businesses, and the U.S. economy.
Colin has over 20 years’ experience developing and implementing policies to support the deployment of energy infrastructure. Most recently at the World Wildlife Fund, he led initiatives to accelerate clean energy deployment in the U.S. and improve clean energy supply chains. Previously, Colin managed the U.S. Department of Energy’s Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP) Program, overseeing more than $10.5 billion in funding for grid infrastructure to support resilient, affordable, and climate-aligned energy systems. Earlier in his career, Colin worked with clean energy developers, trade associations, and environmental organizations to drive policy, regulatory, and market solutions that advance clean energy adoption and lower costs for energy customers across the country.
Colin’s work is informed by deep experience in energy policy, economic analysis, and stakeholder engagement, and reflects a long-standing commitment to aligning energy transition objectives with local community needs. He is a frequent speaker on grid policy, clean energy strategy, and infrastructure development.
