Jade Garrett is an accomplished entrepreneur, innovator, and clean energy leader. She is passionate about facilitating support for organizations developing and implementing clean energy solutions. She has over 15 years of experience as a founder in renewable energy, rapid prototyping, and robotics. She established Positive Deviancy in 2021, with the mission to uplift non-traditional startups and innovators in renewable energy by recognizing and adopting unconventional approaches to achieve extraordinary results. She has helped over 400 founders, inventors, and entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds secure over $14M in funding, find development support, and build their visions for a better world.
Positive Deviancy helps clean tech startups, accelerators, and community-focused organizations find capital, strategic partnerships, and impactful success while remaining committed to justice, diversity, equity, access, and inclusion. Positive Deviancy is a Power Connector and Platinum Level Connector that helps to recruit and assist startups from all over the U.S. to participate in the DOE’s American-Made Prize Challenge Program. Providing project management, expert support, tailored resources, and connections that innovators need to successfully navigate these prize competitions successfully.
