Ben Smith joined ACORE in September 2024 as the Senior Associate, Public Affairs for the Macro Grid Initiative, ACORE’s educational program focused on expanding and modernizing the nation’s electric transmission system to create jobs, reduce costs for ratepayers, and deploy clean energy.

He is a digital media and marketing expert with over a decade of experience leading social media and PR campaigns. He has worked with several news organizations, nonprofits, and PR firms to drive growth and engagement across platforms. Ben specializes in content strategy, team leadership, and data-driven marketing.

Outside of work, he also volunteers for local historic house museums and several volunteer nonprofits.
