Tim Olson works closely with ACORE’s senior leadership team and members to manage policy-related member programs and meetings. He is responsible for monitoring U.S. electric power sector tax, finance and other policy areas, as well as renewable industry developments, to produce high-quality resources and written materials.
Prior to joining ACORE, Tim was a Program Director and Director of Legal Affairs for The Solar Foundation. While working at the foundation, he led and supported multiple U.S. Department of Energy Solar Energy Technology Office grants, focusing on Property Assessed Clean Energy finance and workforce development soft costs. Tim received his law degree with high honors from the George Washington University Law School where he was a member of the law review and focused on energy and environmental law and policy.
