Mason Vliet joined the ACORE staff in 2023 as a Senior Analyst. In this role, he supports the creation of high-quality research products, analysis, and educational materials on the renewable energy sector. His responsibilities include conducting quantitative and qualitative research on renewable energy deployment, investment, supply chain issues, and economic development.
Before joining ACORE, Mason was an Enforcement Analyst at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), where he performed statistical analysis and metrics tracking to monitor violations of NERC Reliability Standards. He also has experience as a Public Utility Analyst at the Florida Public Service Commission, where he assisted in conducting management audits of electric, water, and gas utilities.
Mason holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University.
