Daniel Wolf is Legislative Director at the American Council on Renewable Energy, where he advocates before Congress on policies to accelerate the renewable energy transition. Daniel focuses on issues including clean energy tax, siting & permitting reform, transmission expansion, federal appropriations, and clean energy supply chains.
Prior to joining ACORE, Daniel worked at the American Wind Energy Association (now American Clean Power), where he helped support day-to-day operations of their 501(c)(3) arm, the Wind Solar Alliance. Daniel also worked for a lobbying firm, where he represented clients on Capitol Hill and at the federal agencies.
Daniel graduated from the University of Maryland (UMD), College Park with a Master of Public Policy, specializing in Energy and Environmental Policy. He also graduated from UMD with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics. He is originally from Rockville, MD.
