Ben Pratt is head of Markets & Revenue at Ørsted and is responsible for the asset management, origination, and risk mitigation of the North American portfolio. Ben brings over 20 years of power trading and origination experience in various geographies to his role at Ørsted, where he is a member of the global Senior Management Team. Prior to joining Ørsted, Ben led the development of the Uniper North American business, holding the roles of President and Sr Managing Director. Ben began his power industry career at Williams Energy, as part of the WECC asset portfolio trading team before spending several years working in the hedge fund sector, leading energy trading and investing teams. He also spent time in the European markets with Castleton Commodities, heading their European power and gas business. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
