As the Communications Manager at the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), Anna Hahnemann is responsible for supporting strategic and corporate communications, promoting individual programs and initiatives, and managing digital communications platforms. In this role, she oversees the coordinated development, scheduling, and deployment of the organization’s communications strategies to further establish ACORE as the preeminent voice for the renewable energy sector.
Prior to joining ACORE, Anna worked at the Alliance to Save Energy where she wrote extensively on energy efficiency practices and policies, supported media outreach and marketing efforts, and assisted with event coordination. She also worked at the Business Council for Sustainable Energy where she promoted the organization's various clean energy initiatives.
Anna graduated with honors from George Mason University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications, with a concentration in Public Relations. She is fluent in Portuguese.
