Congress: Don’t Shut Down Clean Energy Jobs

December 13 -- If the past year tells us anything, it's that clean, renewable energy is no longer a hope for the future -- it’s a rapidly growing reality. During the first ten months of 2013, renewable energy sources provided more new power capacity than oil, coal, and nuclear combined. In Oklahoma, more than 200,000 homes are powered by wind energy. California now has 150,000 solar panels installed on rooftops. Iowa and South Dakota are generating nearly a quarter of their power from wind. And Colorado will soon get 20% of its energy from clean sources. That's all good news because Americans value sustainability, investment in local economies, and healthier communities. >>View Article
