The Leadership Council, a group of high level ACORE members representing all sectors of the renewable energy industry, convenes regularly to shape ACORE's policy agenda, discuss strategy, and network with fellow members.
Public policy at the local, state, and federal level is an important driver of U.S. renewable energy market development, investment and deployment. ACORE is a non-partisan organization that works with its members to educate the public and decision makers about effective policies that will promote renewable energy development.
The US-China Program (USCP) of the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) is dedicated to increasing understanding of the U.S. and Chinese renewable energy markets and fostering public and private sector partnerships between our two countries.
Renewable resources in the U.S. are not aligned according to state boundaries. Policy guiding use of renewable energy is set at the Federal, state and local levels of government, however, while renewable energy solutions are better suited to geographic regions. In recognition of this and as part of member engagement on renewable energy policy, ACORE is conducting regional outreach throughout the country to further mobilize our member thought leaders on federal, state and regional energy planning and public policy, and to provide a new channel for peer collaboration.
In order to build a secure, prosperous America with clean, renewable energy, we must cultivate global partnerships as technological advancements and innovative investment strategies emanate from all corners of the world. Mutual exchanges of information, policy and financial mechanisms will strengthen all countries’ efforts and create an environment conducive to the growth of renewable energy globally. Through a variety of workshops, executive roundtables and programs, ACORE’s International Programs engage key global renewable energy stakeholders.
