Leadership Council

The Leadership Council, a group of high level ACORE members representing all sectors of the renewable energy industry, convenes regularly to shape ACORE's policy agenda, discuss strategy, and network with fellow members.

Policy Program

Public policy at the local, state, and federal level is an important driver of U.S. renewable energy market development, investment and deployment. ACORE is a non-partisan organization that works with its members to educate the public and decision makers about effective policies that will promote renewable energy development.


The U.S. Partnership for Renewable Energy Finance (US PREF) is a coalition of senior level financiers who invest in all sectors of the energy industry, including renewable energy. PREF members meet with policymakers to provide their perspectives on how renewable energy finance policies affect the market, and how proposed policies could affect the market. US PREF is not a lobbying organization or an advisory committee to government, rather it is an educational program that provides expert input on how the 

Regional Roundtables

Renewable resources in the U.S. are not aligned according to state boundaries. Policy guiding use of renewable energy is set at the Federal, state and local levels of government, however, while renewable energy solutions are better suited to geographic regions. In recognition of this and as part of member engagement on renewable energy policy, ACORE is conducting regional outreach throughout the country to further mobilize our member thought leaders on federal, state and regional energy planning and public policy, and to provide a new channel for peer collaboration.

International Program

 In order to build a secure, prosperous America with clean, renewable energy, we must cultivate global partnerships as technological advancements and innovative investment strategies emanate from all corners of the world. Mutual exchanges of information, policy and financial mechanisms will strengthen all countries’ efforts and create an environment conducive to the growth of renewable energy globally. Through a variety of workshops, executive roundtables and programs, ACORE’s International Programs engage key global renewable energy stakeholders.
