April 23 -- Kudos to the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission for finally plugging into the correct calculation – for the state, utilities and ratepayers – on renewable energy sources.

It took three tries. In November the PRC awarded double credits for each kilowatt-hour of solar generation and triple credits for sources like geothermal and biomass to make it less expensive for utilities to comply with diversity requirements.
