Vice President of Project Management
Mark Anderson serves as the Vice President of Project Management for EDF Inc., where he supports government relations at the Federal level for the EDF Group’s interests in the U.S. Mark has been with the EDF Group for the past four years.
As one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies, the EDF Group’s generation activities includes 25 GW of installed capacity in renewable energy. EDF Renewable Energy – formerly enXco – holds a 25 year position in the North American RE marketplace having developed over 4 GW of wind and solar projects in the region. EDF RE Services manages a 5GW wind and solar O&M business in the US.
Mark brings over 20 years of international energy infrastructure development experience in the oil, gas, chemicals and water sectors with a commercial focus on project structuring and contract negotiations. Prior to joining EDF, his senior level roles have included International Business Development Manager for Bechtel Corporation and the COO of a financial services firm. Mark began his career in the commodities trading business with assignments in Brazil, France and New York.
Mark earned his B.A. in Economics from Trinity College and an M.B.A. from INSEAD. He is fluent in five languages. Mark is a native of Washington DC where he resides with his wife and three children.
