Jeramy Shays
Policy Associate
Jeramy Shays is Policy Associate at the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE). She is responsible for research and analyses of renewable energy policy including proposed legislation and agency implementation. She works with ACORE's policy team to convene and educate ACORE's members and decision-makers on policies that will support the scale-up of renewable energy.
Jeramy previously served as Director of Seminars and a Research Associate at the Environmental Law Institute (ELI). During her graduate and undergraduate schooling, Jeramy interned for General Electric, Environmental Defense Fund, National Wildlife Federation, The Wilderness Society, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of CT, a Member of Congress and the U.S. Embassy in Denmark.
Jeramy received a joint Law and Masters of Environmental Management (MEM) degree from Vermont Law School and Yale School of Environmental Studies, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Principia College. She is a member of the New York Bar.
