Senior Associate, International Programs
As Senior Associate for International Programs, Ms. Edelman manages and builds on ACORE’s relationships with private, public, and nonprofit sector representatives around the globe. She works both with specific countries and international organizations like IRENA (International Renewable Energy Agency), REN21 (Renewable Energy Network for the 21st Century), REEEP (Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Partnership), and the UN to identify opportunities for investment, education, and collaboration between ACORE members and stakeholders abroad. Ms. Edelman also coordinates programming and communications for ACORE’s US-China Program (USCP).
Before joining ACORE in June of 2013, Ms. Edelman worked as a paralegal in the International Trade practice group at Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, DC. She also spent a year teaching English, science, and social studies on a Fulbright grant in Fuenlabrada, Spain.
Ms. Edelman received her Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where she studied energy and environmental policy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she focused on Spanish, Chinese, and Linguistics, and studied abroad in Kunming, China, and Madrid, Spain.
